After gracing prestigious stages such as the Turin International Book Fair and cities including Genoa, La Spezia, Lerici, Sarzana, the Cinque Terre, and Massa, Aqua. Ventuno giorni con l’acqua alla gola, the debut novel by Paolo Asti, published by Sagep — arrives tomorrow in Florence, at the historic literary café Giubbe Rosse.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m., via videoconference, as part of Pillole di Design – from Italy to Washington, a series of meetings that intertwines knowledge and languages to spread the culture of art, design, and architecture beyond borders.
The author will be welcomed by architect Gabriella Vetrugno, while Francesco Maria Del Vigo, deputy editor of Il Giornale and author of the preface, will lead the conversation with Asti. On the other side of the ocean, architect Andrea Maggi and Maby Palmisano, president of Comites Washington, will join to moderate the event and weave together the American and Florentine perspectives.
An event that connects different places and cultures under the sign of literature, renewing Giubbe Rosse’s vocation as a bridge between memory and the future.
